Sermorelin example

A 5 mg vial with 2 mL of water is 2.50 mg/mL. A 300 mcg dose is 0.12 mL, which reads as 12 units on a U-100 syringe, and the vial holds 17 doses. These are example numbers, change them to yours.

Questions

Sermorelin, frequently asked

How do I calculate a Sermorelin dose?

Divide the Sermorelin in the vial (mg) by the bacteriostatic water you added (mL) to get the strength in mg/mL. Divide your target dose by that strength to get the mL to draw, then multiply by 100 for the units on a U-100 syringe. For example, a 5 mg vial with 2 mL of water is 2.50 mg/mL, so a 300 mcg dose is 0.12 mL, which is 12 units.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a Sermorelin vial?

That is your choice, and it only changes the strength, not how much Sermorelin you have. More water makes it weaker (more units per dose); less water makes it stronger. This tool shows the units for whatever amount you enter.

How many units of Sermorelin do I draw?

It depends on your vial strength and your dose. With the example above (5 mg in 2 mL, 300 mcg dose) you would draw 12 units on a U-100 syringe. Enter your own numbers to see yours.

Is Sermorelin FDA approved?

It depends on the exact product. Some peptides and GLP-1 medicines are FDA approved and some are not. See our plain guide on what peptides are FDA approved.
