Privacy Policy

The short version

• The free web calculator runs on your device. The numbers you type are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
• The Preptide app keeps your compounds, doses, and progress on your phone. If you sign in, they sync through your own private iCloud, which we cannot see.
• Sign in with Apple is used only to identify your account and sync across your devices. We store the Apple identifier and email on your device.
• We never sell or rent your information, and we do not collect your health data on our servers.

Information you enter in the calculator

The free calculator on this site works entirely in your browser. The vial size, bacteriostatic water, and dose you enter are used to do the math on your device and are not transmitted to or saved by us.

Data in the Preptide app

Information you record in the app, such as compounds, vials, dose logs, injection sites, schedules, weight, and check-ins, is stored on your device. If you sign in, your app-entered data syncs through your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database), which only you can access. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.

Account and Sign in with Apple

You can sign in with Apple to save your setup and sync across your devices. When you do, we store the Apple user identifier and the email Apple provides (which may be a private relay address) on your device. This lets us recognize your account and turn on iCloud sync. You can sign out or delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account erases your data on the device and returns the app to the start.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app reads your body-weight entries so you do not have to type them twice. This happens on your device. In line with Apple's rules, health data read from Apple Health is not placed in our iCloud sync and is never sent to our servers.

Subscriptions

Preptide Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of the website, such as which pages are visited and general device or region information. This is used to improve the site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or identify individuals.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Preptide: Apple (Sign in with Apple, iCloud/CloudKit sync, HealthKit, and the App Store) and our hosting provider for this website. Each processes data only as needed to deliver the service and is bound by its own privacy terms.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and the app shows no ads.
• We do not collect the health data you enter in the app onto our servers.
• We do not use your health data for advertising or profiling.

Consumer health data

Some laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, treat information about your health as sensitive. The health-related information you enter (compounds, doses, weight, check-ins) stays on your device and in your private iCloud. We do not collect it, sell it, or share it, and we use it only to provide the app's features to you.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, you control it directly. In the app you can delete individual items, delete all data, or delete your account, which erases your data on the device. You can revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings at any time. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, and your app data benefits from Apple's device and iCloud protections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Preptide is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top. Continued use of Preptide after a change means you accept the updated policy.
